EARLY YEARS
Born in Nashville in 1996 as the oldest of three boys to Clint, an AutoCAD specialist,
and Pam, a computer programmer

Initially lived in a suburb outside of Nashville before his family moved to a small town on the Tennessee-Kentucky border
In high school, he was an all-midstate saxophone player while also being the captain of both his varsity soccer and basketball teams

First job at age 15 as a soccer official
As a sophomore in college, Alex was selected as one of twelve students to be a President's Ambassador, the highest honor at the university


Achieved a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN with a 3.9 GPA

Quickly stood out for his attention to all detail, inquisitive nature, insatiable work ethic, and quiet yet resounding leadership.
In the summer of 2019, Alex achieved the first and only 5/5 rating given by his engineering supervisor in the 15+ years of working
with co-op students.

Designed the meter set reconfiguration for Gerdau Ameristeel, the largest natural gas user in JEA's system. This enabled Gerdau to
invest $67 million to expand their facilities in Jackson without major disruption to their natural gas service.
Led the first distribution design bid project at SJG which included the renewal of 11,000’ of existing natural gas main and the extension of 36,000’ of new natural gas main throughout Fortescue, NJ.
Reviewed and approved the design deliverables of 275,000'+ of new business main and over 3,200 individual new natural gas services.

Designated as the Engineering SME for both Salesforce & IBM Maximo software upgrades at the company.
