In the summer of 2017, I joined a group of people from multiple churches on a mission trip to the town of Camalú in the Baja Peninsula. We helped families throughout the town by building two houses, providing multiple meals, and developing a greater sense of community among the people. I was able to gain a deep understanding of the way in which I/we can help others who are in need. This experience was truly a life-changing event and I look forward to helping serve others in the future!
